Mary Rose Tso

Mary, a Navajo silversmith, started creating jewelry at the age of 25. As a Kinaalda Ceremonies and Blessing Way leader, she loves blessing the next generation, as well as her own immediate family, with her timeless pieces. It took her 30 years to be initiated as a Ceremony leader, where she sings songs and prayes over younger members of her tribe moving into adulthood. Her work is “old style” as she says. Mary is a first generation silversmith.

In her spare time she likes to use her creativity to make cakes with elaborate details for her family and those in the tribe who need a special occasion delight.
